Mind over Matter. We can always do even the most impossible things. All of us can use this unlimited power. But we choose not to. It’s so unfortunate what we fail to recognize this power. Sad but true! We’re tied to our emotions which lead to undesirable result.
First thing that you need to do is to assess yourself. What are your qualities? Your attitude? The way you think will manifest in the level of your skills, knowledge, and attitudes. All defines your character. You may be the brightest in class. Let me cut you out! It’s worthless if you don't have the proper attitude. You are NOTHING but a piece of SHIT!
So, how do you approach challenges? How do you deal with people? What are your habits? Being a Freelancer looks easy when you are outside of the game. Once you're in, it's a quest that only the determined shall win. How well you play the game reflects in your performance. Your attitude plays a vital role, believe me!
Does failure make you give up? If it does, then drop it and stop reading my post. You will never make it to the next level, foremost to the highest level. Proper mindset is accepting challenges, rising from every fall, and learning the lessons without blame. Having a clear and calm mind gives one the capacity to see solutions to every problem at the fastest possible time. Grieving on a failure for a long time suspends the flow of opportunity for a longer time, or makes one blind when opportunity passes by.
Do you procrastinate? Habit becomes actions. Actions become character. Character becomes destiny. Have discipline and perseverance as part of your daily routine. Athletes regularly practice for specific number of hours. They eat the right and proper diet and control their appetite for food, sex, and wine. They reserve their energy for their primary goals. That is partly how they succeed.
How do you deal with a client? Professionalism is important thing to consider when working virtually. Clients differ from one another. The proper mindset to a client is to understand their temperaments and complaints. Listen to their needs. Understand what they want. Being a Freelancer, we should always put our shoes on our clients shoes. If we're always a good service provider, we'll attract more good clients. Never play fire with fire. For sure, you'll get a dose of your own medicine.
